CCCC receives new sculpture of Thor

  A public unveiling of a seven-foot sculpture of Cloud County Community College's Thunderbird mascot, "Mighty Thor," was held Thursday evening at the College.
 Alstom Power Air Preheater, Inc., donated the sculpture which will stand at the entrance to parking lots 2 and 1 near the fitness center and upper level entrance to Arley Bryant Gymnasium.
 "I'm so pleased that Alstom stepped forward to take the lead on this project," Matt Bechard, CCCC athletic director, said. "The new Thor sculpture will be a welcome addition to our campus, and I'm certain the faculty, staff, students and alumni will love it."
