CHS JV loses to Abilene

ABILENE –The Concordia High School junior varsity football team suffered a 44-8 loss to Abilene here last night. The Panthers took an early lead on a 95-yard run by Blaze Payeur. After a two-point conversion pass from Matthew James to Ian Nordell, the Panthers led 8-0. The Cowboys scored twice in the second quarter to take a 12-8 halftime lead. Two more touchdowns and two conversions gave Abilene a 28-8 lead heading into the final quarter. The Cowboys added two touchdowns and two more conversions for the 44-8 final.
