Police Dept. Report

Theft – Officers investigated a report of Theft from Mike's Rent to Own, Concordia, on Wednesday, Jan. 2, at 12:15 p.m. Investigation is ongoing.
Jason Grogan, Concordia, reported at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, the Theft of Items from his residence in the 500 block of Somerset Circle. Thefts occurred on three separate days starting in November, and are under investigation.
Arrests – During a traffic stop at approximately 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, in the 1300 block of Lincoln Street, officers arrested Anthony Lee Keazer, 25, Salina. He was charged with Driving while Suspended, cited and released.
Officers arrested Shakiel Walls, 20, Concordia, at 9:55 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 4 in the 1000 block of East 9th Street on a Cloud County District Court Warrant for Probation Violation. Walls was transported to Cloud County Corrections.
Officers arrested Casey Zach, 27, Concordia, at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6 in the 100 block of State Street on a District Court Warrant for Failure to Register. Zach was transported to Cloud County Corrections.
Damage to property – Brenda Marcotte, Concordia, reported Damage to Property at 2:45 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4. Damage occurred sometime on Jan. 3 in the 900 block of Elmhurst. Investigation is ongoing.
Donald A. Henderson, Belleville, reported at 1:50 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5 that his vehicle was struck by an item that came off a vehicle driven by Roylee Knowles, Concordia, while in the 1300 block of Lincoln Street.
A vehicle driven by Damon Smith, Concordia, struck property owned by Short Stop #4 at 1020 Lincoln Street at 8:25 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5. Minor damage was reported.
Accidents – Officers investigated a two-vehicle accident at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 4 in the parking lot of Mount Joseph in the 1100 block of West 11th Street. A vehicle driven by Margie Ornbostel, Concordia, slid on the ice and struck a legally parked and unattended vehicle owned by Ila Johnson, Concordia.
Officers investigated a two-vehicle accident at 12:50 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5 in the intersection of East 1st and Lincoln Street. Vehicles driven by Duane E. Morris, Minneapolis, Kan. and April G. Owen, Concordia, collided at that location. Concordia EMS transported one patient to Cloud County Health Center.
