Police Dept. Report
Hit and run—Officers investigated an accident report at approximately 2 p.m., Dec. 22, from James Jackson, Concordia, who reported that his legally parked and unattended vehicle in the 700 block of East 7th street had been struck by an unknown vehicle sometime in the past week.
Arrest—Officers investigated an accident at approximately 10:30 p.m., Dec. 22, in the 900 block of Elmhurst. Kevin C. Mead, Concordia, struck a telephone junction box owned by Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. Upon investigation, officers arrested Mead, 21, charging him with DUI.
