Police Dept. Report
Theft—Joseph Griffee, Manhattan, report the Theft of an Item from the 1600 block of Union Road, Feb. 8. Investigation continues.
Wanda Sallman, Concordia, reported the Theft of Items that were delivered to her residence in the 300 block of East 2nd Street, Feb. 6. Investigation continues.
Stephanie Retherford, Concordia, reported Feb. 16 at 12:30 p.m. that Property in the 1200 block of Lincoln Street had been Damaged and Stolen sometime after Feb. 9.
Casey's General Store reported the Theft of Fuel at 7:20 p.m., Feb. 16.
Damage to property—Caleb J. Stupka, Concordia, reported Damage to his Vehicle while it was parked in the 900 block of Matthew Street, Feb. 14. Damage occurred sometime between 3:45 a.m. and 4:10 a.m.
Bernard Hernandez, Abilene, reported Feb. 14 at 8:05 a.m. that his Vehicle had been Damaged sometime during the night while it was parked at the Rodeway Inn.
Arrests—Officers arrested Brian Douglas Peterson, 23, Concordia, at 12:55 a.m., Feb. 17, in the 200 block of East 7th Street. Peterson was transported to Cloud County Corrections and charged with Aggravated Assault.
Officers arrested Kevin Swanson, 35, Scandia, at approximately 7:35 p.m., Feb. 17, in the 1700 block of Quail Road. Swanson was transported to Cloud County Corrections and charged with Rape, Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property, Resisting Arrest and Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer. The arrest was the result of an investigation of a domestic complaint from earlier Sunday.
