Police Dept. Report
Lost and found—A number of items have been turned in to the Concordia Police Department to be identified and claimed. The items, date and location found are as follows: Jan. 20, bicycle, Circle B building; Feb. 16, Samsung phone, 300 block West 8th; Feb. 18, vehicle key, 600 W. 6th.
Items found at Dollar General and held for a month before being turned in were: keys on Koch excavating key ring, Samsumg flip phone, LG slider phone, all found on Jan. 29 and pay stub and car keys, found Jan. 13.
Accident—Officers investigated a two vehicle accident at approximately 3 p.m., Feb. 28, in the intersection of East 11th Street and Matthew Street involving vehicles driven by Judd Kindel, Aurora, and Kenneth Richard Walker, Concordia. Walker was charged with leaving the scene of an accident. No injuries were reported.
Sheriff Brian Marks and Amber Lindberg, jail administrator, reported to Cloud County commissioners at their meeting Monday that two representatives of the Kansas Department of Corrections visited the Law Enforcement Center last Friday and were pleased with the facility.... [More]
