Four entities take over Christmas basket program

Since the Moose Lodge, which formerly handled the Christmas  basket program, has closed, Girl Scout Troop 20880 has partnered with Walmart, the Catholic Church and the Concordia Resource Center to provide this community service.
The Troop is accepting names of families who may need assistance and is accepting donations of clothing, new or near new toys, nonperishable food items and money. Donations may be dropped off at or sent to Girl Scouts 20880 at 901 E. 10th Street.
Those with questions or who would like to adopt a family may contact Amanda Kearn at 275.2316. The present list of families to be adopted is as follows:
