With the deadline for completion of the new Cloud County Law Enforcement Center three weeks away, electrical work still remains the main component to be finished.
Jody Cotton, construction superintendent with Zahner Hansen Construction Group Inc., said at Monday's owners' meeting that everything is on track to meet the Jan. 31 completion date.
He said electricians are currently working on getting the fire alarm system operational. The electrical wiring for the HVAC system has been finished, and testing and balancing will begin soon, Cotton said. All the security cameras are operational, and final adjustments are being made.
"We're going to make it," Cotton said. "As it looks, we're going to meet the end of January date we talked about at the last meeting."
Once all the electrical work is finished, all that will remain are inspections by the city of Concordia and the state.
Another owners' meeting has yet to be scheduled.
