ANNA MARIE (GILE) NELSON

 Marie Nelson transitioned from life in the early hours of May 9 with her loving husband of 64 years, Jack Nelson, by her side. Longtime resident of Snelling, Calif., Marie enjoyed her retirement years driving her Cadillac traveling to visit family and friends, quilting and volunteering with the Rebecca's. Her life can be described as very full of contentment.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter (Le)Roy and Julia Rose Gile of Delphos, Kan., siblings, Glenn Gile of Argenta, Ill., Aileen (Gile) Denning of Jefferson City, Mo., Jean (Gile) Heisley of Salina, Kan., Phyllis (Gile) Gould of Concordia, Kan., and niece, Karen Kempton of Pratt, Kan.
 She leaves behind her loving children, Tom Nelson and wife Debbie of San Jose, Calif., Steven Nelson and wife Kathleen of Tracy, Calif., Rick Nelson and wife Connie of Garden Valley, Calif., and Barbara (Nelson) Cates of Sonoma, Calif., and her pride and joy, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
 Also surviving are her siblings, Martha (Gile) Gebhart of Salina, Kan., Perry Gile of Beatrice, Neb., Trudi (Gile) Heide of Abilene, Kan., Louise (Gile) Kempton of Pratt, Kan., Joan (Gile) Meili of Lincoln, Kan., Janet (Gile) Shrader of Concordia, Kan., and Beth (Gile) Whitney of Ponca City, Okla.
 Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., May 17, in Snelling, Calif.
Donations to your favorite charity in Marie's name would be appreciated in lieu of flowers.
