Barbara Ann (Deneault) Jager

 BARBARA ANN (DENEAULT) JAGER
 Barbara Ann (Deneault) Jager, 74, Concordia, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, June 14, 2013.  She was born at home on the family farm near Concordia, Kan.,  to Ovid and Dora Deneault on Nov. 2, 1938.   She attended Hopewell Elementary School and graduated from Notre Dame Catholic High School in 1956.  Barbara married Bob Jager on July 19, 1958. Barbara loved her family, friends and especially enjoyed the holiday seasons.  Her hobbies included gardening, trying new recipes, and bargain shopping. Barbara was a homemaker the first 20 years of her married life and then began working outside the home in 1980 at St. Joseph Hospital in Central Supply. In 1987 Bob and Barbara bought Concordia Office Supply which they ran until 1999.
 She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the Altar Society.
 Survivors include her husband, Bob; children, Michael (Nancy) of Amarillo, Texas, Julie Hanson (Kallen) of Olathe, Kelly Colvin of Overland Park, Robert J. (Michelle) of Salina, Jennifer Sieben (Patrick) of Concordia, and Brandon (Christi) of Lakewood, Colo.; sister, Edna Lervold; sister-in-law, Charolette Deneault; grandchildren, Brooklyn (Hanson) Pickerill and Morgan (Hanson) Roesler, Maya Colvin, Marissa and Tessa Jager, Jager and Levi Sieben, Abbey, Sawyer and Coda Jager; three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
 She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann; Mother and Father, Ovid and Dora Deneault; and brother, Dale Deneault.
 Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, with the Rev. LeRoy Metro officiating.  Burial followed the services at St. Concordia Cemetery.
