Carl Dean Finkbiner, 77, Clifton, Kan. died  Sat., Jan. 11, 2014 at Medicalodge, Clay Center. He was born Jan. 7, 1937, to Elmer and Margaret (Long) Finkbiner in rural Clifton. He was a construction worker. He married Esther Miller Aug. 3, 1973, in Topeka. She survives. Also surviving: 5 children, Curtis, Christian, Scott (Betty), Charles (Angela) Finkbiner, & Terri (William) Bloomfield; brother, Elmer Jr. (Tanis); sisters, Carol (Frank) Dauksch & Marjorie (Steve) Pfister; 10 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren. The body was cremated. Graveside services will be at a later date. Nutter Mortuary is in charge.
