Cleo J. Mayer, 82, Haddam, died Nov. 9, 2012. He was born Aug. 17, 1930 , to Joseph and Mary (Wurtz) Mayer near Haddam.
Survivors: wife Audrey, Haddam; daughters, Monica (Bob) Schmidt, Alva, Okla., and Beverly Mayer, Phoenix, Ariz.; son, Marty (Traci), San Francisco; grandson, Jason Schmidt.
Services were this morning, Nov. 12, at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Clyde. Burial was in Clara Catholic Cemetery, rural Haddam. Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, Belleville, in charge of arrangements. Condolences: www.tibbettsfischerfuneralhome.com.
