DARRELL D. REGNIER
Darrell D. Regnier, 71, Concordia, died July 28, 2010, at Cloud County Health Center.
He was born March 6, 1939, at Aurora, Kan., to Adalor and Opal (Demanett) Regnier. Darrell grew up in the Aurora, Kan. area and lived there until moving to Concordia in 1965. Darrell was a fun-loving person and was well-known throughout the area and he never forgot a name. Darrell loved playing bingo and listening to country music. He also enjoyed playing with his great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Survivors include two sisters, Dolores Aytes and Charlotte Read (Bill), all of Concordia; several nieces, nephews and great- and great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, several aunts and uncles and former brother-in-law, Robert Aytes Sr.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Aug. 2, at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel in Concordia with the Rev. Barry Brinkman officiating. Memorials may be made to Mt. Joseph Senior Village or Sisters of St. Joseph Retirement Fund.
