Elva Ann (Nelson) Holman, Age 95, of Apple Valley, Minn., passed away peacefully late December 23, 2012.  Elva was born in Concordia and attended Kansas State University.  She married Arthur Vernon Holman June 13, 1942.  She had lived in several cities during her lifetime including Kansas City, Hot Springs Village and suburbs of Minneapolis-St. Paul.  
 Her parents, Mabel (Olson) and Lawrence Nelson, as well as her sisters, Dorothy (Warren) St. Pierre, Ruby (Elmo) St. Pierre and Ruth (Wilson) Carlgren all preceded her in death.  She is survived by her husband Vern; her daughter Mary (Roger) Kathol; grandchildren Heather (Russell) Peck, Spencer (Sara) and Austin (Summer) Kathol; great-grandchildren Jillian and Tobin Peck; nieces Mary Ann (Ken) Palmquist, Joyce (Jim) Coppoc, Beth (Mark) Whisler, Sandy (Roger) Sample; and many other beloved relatives.
A Memorial Service will be held 3 p.m., Jan. 19, at the Commons on Marice, 1380 Marice Drive, Eagan, MN.
