GARY LEE BUCKLAND
Gary Lee Buckland, born July 3, 1943, in Concordia, Kan., to Nellie (Duvall) and Glenn Buckland died Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, in Hamilton, Mont., following a short illness. His father died when he was 11 and he and his mother moved to Paris for a year with his sister Marie's family. He owned a bar at one point, raised ostriches and owned a pay phone company. He had been retired for a number of years. He had a great sense of humor and loved to tell jokes and stories to anyone he could get to listen.
Gary was a supporter of 2nd Amendment Rights. Cloud County was the "center of his known universe."
He moved to Hamilton, Mont., from Colorado Springs in 2011 with his wife Judy Speirs. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Marie Pue, his daughter, Kyisha Reding and his son Troy. He is survived by his wife, son Erick Buckland, grandchildren Toyann and Ben Buckland, sister Betty Guipre and other relatives.

The love of Judy's life
"Gary loved to tell jokes and believed in our Amendment rights. He will be truly missed by those that loved him and his wife Judy. My thoughts and prayers are always with you in this time of need. "
"I met Gary once: very intelligent and conversed as noted in Obit about "anything." He was lucky enough to meet Judy and hook up with her. Dear Judy waits behind in total grief her Gary. Leave your light on for her so she knows you are there with him. Love you Judy and my prayers come to you daily to realize that Gary is safe now and he wants you to enjoy the time you have left and NOT grief: accept his memories, joys, good times and SALUTE to him. True love for sure. Luv you sister! Diane"
