 GERMAINE "GERRY" SCHWERMAN
 Germaine “Gerry” Schwerman, age 76, Salina (formerly of Jamestown) died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at her home in Salina, Kan.  She was born on Oct. 18, 1936, in Concordia, Kan., to Paul & Lucille A. (Dutel) Charbonneau.
 Gerry graduated high school from Mt. Saint Scholastica in Atchison.  She received her bachelor’s degree from Marymount College, Salina.  Gerry was a geriatric aide at Cheyenne Lodge Nursing Home, Jamestown, until her retirement.  She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the Altar Society.
 She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Slater & husband, Gregory, Salina; son, John Schwerman, Phillipsburg; sister, Mary Bennett, Hendersonville, Tenn; and seven grandchildren.
 She was preceded in death by her parents and stepmother, Theresa Charbonneau.  
 A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am, Thursday, June 28, 2013, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with the Rev. Msgr. Barry Brinkman officiating.  Cremation will follow the services and burial will be at a later time in the St. Concordia Cemetery.
 Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, with an Altar Society Rosary at 5 p.m. and Vigil services at 6:30 p.m., all at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
