Jean Trussell, age 85, died Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at The Nicol Home, Glasco, Kan. Jean was born April 19, 1927 in rural Randall, Kan. to Ray & Etta (Studer) McMillan. Jean grew up in the Randall community. She married Lyle Trussell on Dec. 15, 1946 near Randall, Kan., after Lyle’s discharge from the Navy. Jean worked in the banking field, in several different communities all her life, until her retirement in 1982. Lyle & Jean spent nine years traveling extensively in their motor home and visited all 50 states except Rhode Island & Hawaii. They were residents of Delphos, Kan. when they were not traveling, fishing or golfing. Jean was a member of the United Methodist Church, Delphos.
 Survivors include her daughter, Janice Chancy (Terry), Delphos; sons, James Trussell (Mary), Hanahan, SC; John Trussell (Alice), Manhattan; Gary Trussell (Rita), Crossett, Ariz. & Terry Trussell, Huntington Beach, Calif.; sister, Susan Buer (Ed), Norway, Kan.; brother, Kenneth McMillan, Vancouver, Wash.; sisters-in-law, Naomi Flewelling, Weber; Pauline McMillan, Beloit; Donna Trussell & Joann Trussell, both of Kansas City, Kan.; 7 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren.
 Jean was preceded in death by her husband Lyle on July 21, 1995; her parents; granddaughter, Jennifer Chancy; brothers, Richard, Ronald, Harold, Wilbur & Max McMillan & sisters, Rachel Hancock & Joann McMillan.
 Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Sat. Feb. 9, 2013, at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean R. Frazier officiating. Burial will follow at the Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown. Visitation is Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia, with family greeting friends from 7-8 p.m. The family suggest memorials to The Nicol Home, in c/o the funeral home.
