KENNETH R. FISCHER
Kenneth R. Fischer, 67, died March 6, 2010.
He was born April 26, 1942, at Republic, Kan., to Walter and Velda (Noble) Fischer. He was owner of Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home and chairman of Tibbetts Bros. Inc.
Survivors include his wife, Sue Lyn of Belleville; children, Kirk R. (Christina) Fischer of Niwot, Colo., Craig A. (Danielle) Fischer of Jackson Hole, Wyo., Mike (P.J.) Tuma and Shelley (Michael) Peroo of Olathe; brother, Harold (Betty) Fischer of Republic; grandchildren, Julia and Anna Fischer; Jordan and Shae Tuma; Houston and Chase Purcell; Nathan and Ryan Peroo; nephews, Matt (Jarneé) Fischer, Scott Fischer and fiancée Christy; great- nieces, Gabriella and Alessandra.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, in the Republic High School Gymnasium, Republic, Kan. Burial will be in Lake Cemetery, Republic.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Crippled and Burned Children’s Travel Fund or High Banks Hall of Fame Museum, in care of the funeral home. Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Tuesday, with the family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, 1104 20th St., Belleville, KS 66935.
