LINDY M. GRAM
Lindy M. Gram, age 95, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Park Villa Nursing Home, Clyde, Kan. She was born on Feb. 1, 1918, to Leo and Catherine (Younker) Dellva.
Lindy attended Hays Catholic High School and later graduated from Clyde High School. She married Harley D. Gram on Nov. 11, 1939. Lindy was a farm wife/homemaker and a waitress at Sandy's/Deena's Café in Clyde. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, CDA, Clyde Historical Society and the 9 High Bridge Club.
She is survived by her son, Mark Gram and wife Theresa, Clyde; grandson, Rodney Gram and Laura Wasinger, Manhattan; great-grandson, Evan Wasinger, Manhattan; sisters, Mary Anne Casey, Denver, Colo., Clare Jann, Florence, S.C. and Pauline Riedel, WaKeeney, Kan., and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harley on July 22, 2003, her parents, five brothers and three sisters. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 4, 2013, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with the Rev. Larry Letourneau officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Clyde.
A Parish Rosary will be at 4 p.m., Wednesday, at Chaput Mortuary. Vigil services will be at 7 p.m., Wednesday, at the Church, Visitation will be from 12-5 p.m. at the Mortuary and after 6 p.m. at the Church with family greeting friends until the Vigil.
