Marcelline Bonebrake, 93 years of age, of Concordia, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at Mount Joseph Senior Village in Concordia. She was born Jan. 25, 1920, in Miltonvale to Alphonse and Rosanna (Chaput) Hebert. She married Sam Bonebrake on Nov. 28, 1939, at Aurora. He preceded her in death on March 16, 1983. She married Fred Fielder on Aug. 7, 1993. He died on Nov. 19, 2009. She worked in the Concordia school system for many years.
 Marcelline is survived by her children, Kale (Juanita) Bonebrake of Emporia, Lyle (Theresa) Bonebrake of Concordia, Joyce (Ken) McClanahan of Clyde, Earl (Brenda) Bonebrake of Beloit, Connie Bonebrake of Concordia; her loving dog, Mali; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Maxine Robb of Lancaster, Calif., Darlene Beighton of Desert Hot Springs, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Sam Bonebrake and Fred Fielder; and five brothers, Melvin, Armile, Gerald, Leland and Larry Hebert.
 Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia with the Rev. Brian Lager officiating. Interment will be in the St. Concordia Cemetery in Concordia. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, with a Rosary at 5 p.m. and a Vigil Service at 5:30 p.m. at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia. Memorials are suggested to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church or Meadowlark Hospice in care of the funeral home.  Condolences may be left online at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home in Concordia is in charge of arrangements.



Carl Dean Finkbiner, age 77, of Clifton, Kan., died Jan. 11, 2014. Graveside services will be Monday, April 21, 2014, at 1:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, north of Clifton. Nutter Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
