NINA K. THOMAN-ADAMS
Nina K. Thoman-Adams, age 50, died Thursday, July 4, 2013, at Cloud County Health Center. She was born on Nov. 20, 1962, in Concordia, Kan., to Bob and Dianne (Demars) Thoman.
In her youth, Nina enjoyed growing up and helping on the farm. She graduated high school from Gibbon, Neb., and then Cloud County Community College. She was an administrative assistant/secretary at F&A Food Sales, Pawnee Mental Health Services and a host of other places. Nina enjoyed riding motorcycles and participating in the Toy Runs and Poker Runs. She was especially fond of her cats, kittens and dog Jett.
She is survived by her mother, Dianne LaBonte, Aurora; son Derek Adams and Kaitlyn Dykes, Concordia; fiancé, Rex Ellsworth, Concordia; brother, Marty Thoman and wife Beth, St. Louis, Mo.; grandchildren, Bentley and Carter Adams, Concordia, and niece and nephew, Lauren and Dillon Thoman, St. Louis, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bob; step-father, Jim LaBonte and grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home with the Rev. Dean R. Frazier officiating. Burial will follow the services at St. Peter's Cemetery, Aurora. Visitation will be from 10 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday, with the family greeting friends from 7-8 p.m., at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
