The Rev. Wilbur D. Buckley, 87, Clay Center, Kan. died July 25, 2013, at his home. He was born May 19, 1928, in Concordia to Robert M. and Mary (Walno) Buckley. He married Hazel Florence Furrer, Aug. 19, 1947, in Ames. She died Oct 21, 2011. Graduated 1951 from Miltonvale Wesleyan College & was a minister for 40 years. Survivors: son, Robert Buckley; daughter, Karen Duncan; brother, Earl Buckley; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren. Preceded by brother Floyd, sister, Mabel Kalin and his twin, Wilma Jean Nelson. Services: 2 p.m., July 31, Clay Center Wesleyan Church. Burial: Pleasant View Cemetery, Ames. Visitation: 7-8 p.m., Tuesday, Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home, Riley.
