VELDA ANDERSON LINDEN
Velda Linden, 90, Republic, died March 6, 2010.
She was born Aug. 23, 1919, at Courtland, Kan., to Charlie and Elin (Ekstrom) Anderson. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenwood in 1987.
Survivors include a son, Robert of Edmonds, Wash.; a daughter, Judy (Dennis) Erkenbrack of Republic; grandchildren, Conrad and Julie Linden, Merritt and Karl Poulsen, Brett and Sonia Erkenbrack, Kinda and Mark Williams; great-grandchildren, Kyle, Jacob, Allison, Nathan Linden; Blake and Drew Erkenbrack; Taylor, Skyler and Garrett Williams.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, at the United Methodist Church in Republic. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Scandia. Memorials may be made to the Church or Cloud County Women’s Basketball Fund. Visitation is tonight until 9 p.m., at Tibbetts-Fischer Funeral Home, 1104 20th St., Belleville, KS 66935.
