YVONDA LEE GRAY
Yvonda Lee Gray, 77, of Salina, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012.
She was born Nov. 28, 1934, in the Mahin family home outside of Randall, Kan., to William Arnold and Edna Marcelle Mahin. Her loving husband William A. Gray of Salina survives Yvonda after 59 years of loving partnership and marriage. She is also survived by her mother, Marcelle Mahin of Jamestown and her two sons, Bill Gray and Patricia Kracht of Salina, and Stacey Gray and Kim Cochran of Olathe; six grandchildren, Austin and Delaney Gray of Nashville, Tenn.; Jordan Gray and Vanessa Rupp of Lawrence; Katie Gray Scaduto and Michael Scaduto of Overland Park; Thomas and Kaitlin Gray of Olathe; Casey Shreve of Lawrence; and Brighton Gray of Olathe. She also had one great-grandson, William Scaduto of Overland Park.
Yvonda lived her life loving her family and touching people’s lives and hearts. She loved crafts, sewing and playing bridge with the same group of ladies for the past 25 years. Belmont Boulevard Christian Church was her church home for more than 40 years and all her church family will miss her dearly. She will be greatly missed as an incredible wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Memorial services were this morning, Jan. 30, at Belmont Boulevard Christian Church, 2508 Belmont Boulevard, Salina. Memorials may be made to Belmont Boulevard Christian Church. Ryan Mortuary, Salina, was in charge of arrangements.
