Earned that Spot
We (Notre Dame) earned that spot . . . that chance to play for the championship.
Didn’t lose during the season. In pre-season predictions . . . Many said our schedule was the toughest in the country. The more we won, the easier it got.
At my advanced age, I have lived through years of such editorials. But I still have a lot of Irish fight in these ol’ bones.
By the way, Notre Dame had the #1 graduation rate in the country. Want to rag on that?
