Letter to the Editor 11-9

Dear Editor,
First of all, I would like to congratulate the 2012 Panther Football team on a great season. The main reason for this submission is not to complain but to be grateful for what this community is all about. On Saturday, November 3rd, when the boys played in Buhler, Kansas, there were more Panther fans than the visitor section could allow. There were fans lining the fences and screaming just as much as those in the stands, if not louder.
Even though I graduated two years ago, it still means a lot to me to be there and support my hometown teams. It was so wonderful to see the support of parents, siblings, friends, and live time Panther fans cheering and being positive from beginning to end. So I would like to thank everyone who has supported CHS in the past, present, and will in the future.
To the boys and coaches, you have made your community proud, win or lose. You have held your heads high and looked to the brighter side of any situation. You have created a brotherhood bond with your fellow classmates and players that will last a lifetime.
Once again, congratulations on your great season and best of wishes in your futures.
Ashley Thoman
