Letter to the Editor 5-16-14

Dear Editor,
Cloud County Health Center is committed to providing quality health care to our community. The care that we provide to our patients is our top priority. We apologize if patients were inconvenienced in any way earlier this week.
Cloud County Health Center received an inspection from the State Fire Marshal which pointed out some deficiencies in our underlying infrastructure that required suspension of certain services on Tuesday and Wednesday. Our generator (backup power supply) needed some immediate servicing to meet CMS (Medicare) requirements. This was a situation that we were able to remedy immediately. However, as the building and our equipment ages, and updated requirements are put into place, we will be faced with the daunting challenge of maintaining an out-of-date facility. We look forward to serving our community for many decades yet to come and thank you for your continued support.
