Flags committee plans Memorial Day services

The Avenue of Flags committee met Monday evening at the American Legion post home and completed plans for Memorial services.
A dedication of the new memorial wall will be at 11 a.m., Memorial Day, in the northwest corner of the Courthouse lawn next to the Eternal Flame memorial. Names of all Cloud County veterans killed in the wars will be on the wall.
Large flags will be placed at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at 8 a.m., Monday, and taken down at 5 p.m. and folded at the American Legion post home.
Small flags will be placed on graves at 9 a.m., Saturday, May 25. Those who are helping should meet at the southwest corner at the veterans' memorial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. All help is appreciated.
