Cloud County’s Jordyn Alexander has been named the Freshman of the Year in the Western Division of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference.
Alexander, a 5’11” post player for the Cloud County women’s basketball team, was also named to the first team All-KJCCC West team.
Alexander averaged a team high12.7 points per game for the 21-11 T-Birds. She also led the team in free throw shooting at 75.7% and field goal percentage at 47%.
Alexander averaged five rebounds per game.
In Conference play Alexander ranked third in the Conference in scoring with a 14.9 points per game average.
