State qualifier Janae Champlin was presented the Outstanding Golfer Award during the Concordia High School girls’ golf banquet Monday night.
Champlin, a junior, placed seventh individually in the Class 4A regional tournament at Oakley to qualify for state for the third consecutive season. She finished tied for 43rd in the state tournament at Crestwood Country Club in Pittsburg.
The other awards presented during the banquet, and the recipients, include:
Outstanding senior, Autaum Poley; Outstanding Junior, Stormie Hittle; Outstanding Sophomore, Bailey Strait; Outstanding Freshman, Kaitlin Herrick and Kora Snavely; Most Improved, Bailey Strait; and Rookie of the Year, Kaitlin Herrick.
Receiving varsity letters include:
Champlin, Poley, Hittle, Strait, Herrick and Kayla Dvorak.
