CHAPMAN — The Concordia High School golf team placed second in the six-man competition and third in the four-man at the Chapman Invitational on Tuesday.
Concordia, in a tournament that was shortened to nine holes because of inclement weather, posted a score of 273 in the six-man competition.
Abilene won the tournament with a 262. Wamego also shot 273, and placed third.
The Panther four-man team shot 171.
Abilene won the four-man with a 163. Wamego was second with a 171.
Concordia’s Micah Fabarez and Grant Holmes each shot 42.
Fabarez won the scorecard playoff to finish fifth individually. Holmes was sixth.
Christian Wetter carded a 43 for the Panthers.
Chase Streeter was one stroke back for Concordia with a 44.
Cooper Holmes shot 50 for the Panthers, and Logan Widen had a 52.
Marcus Willey, Abilene, was the individual medalist with a 36.
