Clay Center defeats Panthers

Clay Center dealt the Concordia eighth grade boys’ basketball team a 43-18 home loss on Thursday.
Concordia fell behind 16-5 in the first quarter.
The Panthers were limited to five points in the second period, and Clay Center scored 11 to go up 27-10 at halftime.
Clay Center added 10 points in the third quarter to eight for Concordia, and it was a 37-18 game.
The Panthers were shut out in the finals stanza, and Clay Center tacked on six points.
Ian Nordell scored eight points for Concordia.
The Concordia B-team lost 52-15 to Clay Center.
Clay Center had a 27-5 lead at halftime, and outscored the Panthers 25-10 in the second half.
Devin Kymer and Jonas Sallman scored four points each for Concordia.
