Eason delivers walk-off home run

A walk-off two run home run by Sierra Eason in the bottom of  the seventh gave the Cloud County women's softball team  a 5-3 win and a sweep of Southeast Community College at the Concordia Sports Complex on Friday.
Cloud County split a doubleheader with Hesston on Thursday winning game one 2-0 before falling 6-5 in a 12 inning game.
Kately Bailey singled to lead off the bottom of the seventh inning with the game tied at three.
Eason followed with a two-run shot to end the game.
Eason scored the first run of the game walking in the first inning and later stealing home.
Southeast scored in the second to tie the game at one.
Cloud County got two in the fourth as Kaylee Mick and Mikayla Soderstrom both reached base on errors and scored on a two-out grounder by Tavia Fazel.
Southeast knotted the game at three with two runs in the top of the seventh, setting up Eason's heroics.
The T-Birds only mustered three hits in the game, two coming in the final inning.
Savanna Luke pitched a complete game allowing three runs on nine hits; she struckout seven and walked two.
Cloud County picked up a 3-1 win in the first game of the doubleheader.
Eason led off the bottom of the first with a double and later scored on a single by Chatley Lovvorn.

Jones pitched all seven innings allowing a single run on five hits, she struckout seven and walked one.
Cloud County got a second inning home run by Jessica Downard to take a 1-0 lead over Hesston in game one of the doubleheader.
Eason singled and scored in the sixth on a single by Downard to give the T-Birds the 2-0 win.
Downard had two of Cloud County's six hits in the game.
Jones pitched all seven innings allowing no runs on two hits, she struckout nine and walked none.
Hesston took the early lead in game two scoring in the top of the first and again in the fifth for a 2-0 lead.
The T-Birds sent the game into extra innings with a two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh by Eason.
Soderstrom led off the inning with a double and scored on Eason's home run.
Both teams scored again in the ninth.
Jones scored on a groundball by Soderstrom to tie the score at three.
Hesston got a two-run home run by Hayley Gately in the top of the eleventh to take a 5-3 lead.
The T-Birds answered with two of their own in the bottom of the inning to extend the game.

Hesston scored the final run of the game in the top of the eleventh and then held the T-Birds for the 6-5 win.
