F&A blasts Belleville Bandits

BELLEVILLE — F&A Food Sales outscored the Belleville Bandits 29-4 in winning both ends of a K-18 Baseball doubleheader on Friday.
Trevor Tholstrup shut out Belleville on four hits as F&A Food Sales rolled to a 16-0 win in four innings in the first game.
Jumping out to a 7-0 lead in the first two innings, F&A Food Sales won the second game, 13-4.
F&A Food Sales grabbed a 5-0 lead in the first inning in game one.
Three runs in the second inning and one in the third put F&A Food Sales up 9-0.
F&A Food Sales tacked on seven runs in the fourth inning.
Tholstrup struck out six and walked one in four innings.
Ethan Bechard had four hits and scored three runs for F&A Food Sales.
Tholstrup, Colby Trost and Ian Nordell had two hits and scored three runs each. Logan Widen had two hits and Caleb Strait scored two runs.
In the second game, F&A Food Sales put up five runs in the first inning and two in the top of the second to make it a 7-0 game.
Belleville scored two runs in the bottom of the second and two in the third to close the gap to 7-4.
F&A Food Sales scored three runs in the fourth inning and three more in the fifth to go up 13-4.
Bechard was the winning pitcher for F&A Food Sales. Trost pitched in relief.
Nordell scored three runs.
Trost had two hits and scored two runs. Widen had three hits and Bechard scored three runs.
