Lost and found—Concordia Police Department has a number of items that have been found and turned in to be identified and claimed. Items, date and location found are as follows: Pay stub and car keys, Jan. 13, 19th Street Short Stop; Keys on Koch Excavating key ring, Samsung flip phone, LG Slider phone, all on Jan. 29 at Dollar General (items were held at Dollar General for a month before being turned into the P.D.); bicycle, Dec. 2, 100 block of East 9th; Moped, Dec. 5, 13th and Lincoln; dining room chair (wood), Dec. 13, Highway 81 at North city limits; HFT orange strap, Dec. 16, 600 block Republican; wet floor sign, Dec. 19, 400 block West 9th; keys with Class of 2011 lanyard, Dec. 19, 1100 block of cedar; Walkman, Dec. 29, 200 block of West 18th.

 

Accidents—Officers investigated a two vehicle accident at 9:20 a.m., Jan. 31. Kristen Halfhide, Concordia, slid on the ice and struck an unknown vehicle in the 1300 block of Lincoln. No injuries were reported.
Officers investigated a two vehicle accident at the intersection of East 14th Street and Lincoln Street at 9:35 a.m., Jan. 31, involving vehicles driven by Kevin Smith, Concordia, and Justin Campbell, Topeka.
Officers investigated a two vehicle accident at 10 a.m., Jan. 31, in the 1300 block of Lincoln Street involving vehicles driven by Jacob Delp, Concordia and Brandon Gatton, Ellinwood. No injuries were reported.
Officers investigated a two vehicle accident on Saturday, Feb. 1st at 12:15 p.m. in the intersection of West 8th St. and Republican. Vehicles driven by David J. Redmond, Concordia, and Tracy A. Hayden, Concordia, collided at that location. No injuries were reported.
Arrests—Officers arrested Richard Robert Knapp, 23, Concordia, at 4:45 p.m., Feb. 1, in the 100 block of East College Drive. Knapp was charged with Criminal Trespass and Theft, cited and released.
Officers arrested Jamie Alexander Ashland-Morgan, 19, Concordia, at 1:50 a.m., Feb. 2, in the 400 block of East 2nd Street on a Cloud County Warrant for Burglary and Theft. Ashland-Morgan was transported to Cloud County Corrections.
