Police Dept. Report
Arrests—Officers arrested Katherine Jane West, 26, Concordia, at approximately 2 p.m., June 6, in the 1000 block of Olive Street on a Belleville Municipal Court Warrant for Theft. West was transported to Cloud County Corrections.
Officers arrested Tiffany Renee Rice, 22, Wichita, at approximately 10 p.m., June 6, in the 1000 block of Lincoln, charging her with No Proof of Insurance, Illegal Tag and Driving While Suspended. Rice was cited and released.
Theft—Foster Losh, Concordia, reported Theft and Damage to Property at 5:30 p.m., June 7. The theft and damage occurred in the 600 block of Willow sometime after June 3. Investigation continues.
Geoffrey B. Michels, Concordia, reported Theft of Items from his vehicle while it was parked in the 1100 block of Olive. Theft occurred after 10 p.m., June 7 and before 9 a.m. June 8.
Robert R. Niehues, Concordia, reported  Theft of Items at 12:10 p.m. The items were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in the 1400 block of Archer Street. Items taken were owned by Niehues and Coca Cola Refreshment Inc.
Harlan D. Snyder, Concordia, reported the Theft of a 1993 Dodge Dakota extended cab pickup at 3 p.m., June 8. Theft occurred sometime after 11 p.m., June 7. Vehicle is blue with a black roof and hood. The Kansas tag is 556 FPM. Anyone having information on this vehicle is asked to call Concordia Police Department at 785.243.3131.
Accident—Officers investigated a two vehicle accident at 6:30 p.m., June 8, in the intersection of West 7th and Cedar. Vehicles driven by Tara B. Koch and Jeffrey J. Nielson, both of Concordia, collided at that location. No injuries were reported.

 

Fire Dept./EMS Report
At 12:56 p.m., Sunday, Medic-5 responded to the 300 block of West 8th and transported a 29-year-old female patient to Cloud County Health Center.
At 3:09 p.m., Sunday, Medic-5 responded to the Airport, picked up a flight crew, transported it to Cloud County Health Center, then transported the crew back to the Airport with a newborn infant.
