Funk Pharmacy beats Co-op

 Five players scored two runs each as Funk Pharmacy knocked off Cloud County Co-op 14-1 Thursday night in Girls’ Junior Softball play Thursday night at the Concordia Sports Complex.
 Erin Meyer had a home run and a single and scored two runs for Funk Pharmacy.
Kennedy Chrisco, Jenna Bloomer and Deklyn Payeur had two hits and scored two runs each.
 Emily Daniels walked twice and scored a pair of runs.
 Funk Pharmacy broke a scoreless tie with four runs in the second inning.
 Cloud County scored one run in the third inning.
 Funk Pharmacy added four runs in the third, and led 8-1.
 Six runs in the fourth inning put Funk Pharmacy up 14-1.
 Allison Poore was the winning pitcher for Funk Pharmacy.
 Hailey Budke did the pitching for Cloud County Co-op.
 In the other game played Thursday night, Subway shut out the American Legion, 4-0.
Subway scored single runs in the second and third innings to take a 2-0 lead.
Scoring two runs in the fourth inning, Subway made it 4-0.
 Laken Schroeder got the win for Subway.
Mariah Lott pitched for the American Legion.
