Letter to the Editor 12-28

Dear Editor,
As it takes a village to raise a child, so it takes a community to produce a successful Holiday Homes Tour. December 6, 1987, Chapter AO, P.E.O. sponsored the first tour of homes in Concordia. Since that time 75 amazing hosts and hostesses have opened their homes to the public to help celebrate the Christmas season. Without those kind souls and the assistance and support of the community this would never be possible.
We so appreciate the generous coverage and cooperation from the Blade-Empire and KNCK radio employees.
Our sincere thanks also to the Concordia banks, the Chamber of Commerce, Tom’s Music House and Travel and Tourism for selling tickets and to Concordia Rotary, Cloud County Health Center, NCK Commercial Laundry and Square One Flooring for your help.
All members of AO, P.E.O. and the home tour committee members, Nancy Champlin, Judy Kircher, Norine Koester, Susan Kueker, Susan Martin, Jayme Peterson, Jane Richard, Amanda Wahlmeier and Jane Wahlmeier thank all of you who visited the holiday homes and helped us in any way. Your contributions will fund women’s educational projects and scholarships.
In appreciation,
Chapter AO, P.E.O.
Nancy Champlin
