Letter to the Editor 2-22-13

Dear Editor,
We are writing this letter in light of the vote for the new hospital on Feb. 26. My wife and I moved to Concordia in the fall of 2010. We came so I could teach chemistry at Cloud County Community College. In the spring of 2011, our daughter was born at Cloud County Health Center. Our experience with the physicians during her birth was outstanding. The importance of having a hospital in our community is most beneficial. Instead of having to leave town every time our daughter has an appointment or gets ill, we save both time and gasoline by having Cloud County Health Center. The three-quarter of a percent tax would cost our family approximately $150 per year, or $12 per month. To put that into perspective, that is a third of the price of most cable or internet bills. We think our health issues are worth that. We, the Nydegger family, will be voting yes for the new hospital on Feb. 26, and we hope you will join us!
Sincerely,
Mike & Irma Nydegger
