Dear Editor,
In regard to Tuesday’s hospital vote, the results show that the majority of Concordia voters are for the new hospital. One suggestion I might offer is to have Concordia residents only vote on a one percent CITY sales tax to fund the hospital and when the sales tax becomes insufficient to operate the hospital it could be added to the CITY property taxes. This would make city and county voters happy, as the majority of Concordia voters are for the hospital and most voters in other parts of the county are against the hospital. This is just one suggestion so Concordia can have their brand new hospital. I’m sure there are other better suggestions.
