Letter to the Editor 6-28-13

Dear Editor,
A few months ago, while I was at work in a downtown area on a Friday afternoon, I found out that someone had hit my car when a customer came in and told us someone had driven downtown on a sidewalk, taking out a railing and then hitting a car. When I stepped outside, sure enough, it was my car. There were all kinds of people there and an officer. It was quite a sight to see. Needless to say that after quite some time I found out that my car was not driveable. This was quite a problem for me because I do live out of town.
So now, not knowing how I am going to get home, called my insurance agent, who is out of town. They recommended a business to call for rentals. I called and they did not have any rentals available.
Luckily for me, a customer walked in. His name is Brice Bowers. I asked him if he had any rental cars. He said he was not sure but that I should call Concordia Chevrolet/ Buick, so I did.
To make a long story short, Brice was able to personally bring me a loaner car to drive home and then had someone come and haul off my vehicle. I cannot begin to tell you what a relief that was to me, after such a super stressful, mindboggling experience. Thank you, Brice, for being my Knight in Shining Armor that day!!
The next week, Concordia Chevrolet Buick fixed my car. Thank you, Shawn and your staff, for fixing my car.  I feel this business went beyond the call of duty to help me out in getting me back in my car. Now, if only I could say something positive about the insurance companies that were involved in this incident.
