Concordia Mayor Tim Parker has filed for reelection to the Concordia City Commission.
Parker, owner of Taco John's, filed Thursday. He was first elected to the Commission in 2011. He joins Lyle Pounds, who filed for reelection on Monday, in the race for two open seats on the Commission.
The two open spots on the Commission are currently held by Parker and Pounds, and are both three-year terms. The filing deadline is January 21 at noon for the general election, which will be April 1.
If more than six candidates file for the positions, there will be a primary election, which will be February 25.
