SANDRA "SANDY" MILLER
Sandra "Sandy" Miller, 69, Glasco, died July 26, 2010, at Dialysis Center of Salina, Salina, Kan.
She was born April 14, 1941, at Clyde, Kan., to Glen and Maxine (Hess) Townsdin. As a child, Sandy was a member of 4-H. She graduated from Glasco High School in 1959. She married Gerald Miller on Aug. 16, 1958, in Formoso, Kan. He survives of the home. Sandy was an adjuster for Federal Crop Ins., an asst. postmaster at the Glasco Post Office and the bookkeeper for the Miller Machine Shop. Sandy also was a member and officer of the Glasco Foundation.
Survivors: husband, Gerald Miller of Glasco; daughters, Rhona Cash (Jim) of Shawnee, Kan.; and Madonna Bergmann (Bill) of Simpson, Kan.; son, Kevin Miller of Glasco; mother, Marguerite Townsdin of Jamestown; 4 sisters, Illene Hess of Topeka, Kan.; Shirley Riek (Loren) of Clay Center, Kan.; Patsy Jackson (Bob) of Blue Rapids, Kan.; Carol Bisnette of Concordia, Kan.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: father, Glen and mother, Maxine; sister, Jeanette Townsdin and a brother, James Townsdin.
Services: 10:30 am., Thursday, July 29, Chaput-Buoy Funeral Chapel, 325 W. 6th St., Concordia, with Pastor Dennis McAlister officiating. Burial, Glasco Cemetery, Glasco, Kan.
Memorials to: Diabetes Association. Visitation: 2-9 p.m. with the family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home. It was Sandy’s wish for the casket to remain closed.
