Seventh graders fall to Marysville

Marysville dealt the Concordia seventh grade girls’ basketball team a 39-16 defeat in a home game on Thursday.
Concordia fell behind 14-8 in the first quarter.
The Panthers outscored Marysville in the second period, and trailed just 18-15 at halftime.
Marysville held Concordia scoreless in the third quarter, and tossed in 10 points to go up 28-15.
The Panthers were outscored 11-1 in the final period.
Cydney Bergmann scored 12 points for Concordia.
The Concordia B-team was beaten 18-15 by Marysville.
Concordia trailed 10-4 at halftime.
The Panthers scored 10 points in the third quarter, to six for Marysville, to make it 16-14.
Marysville added two points in the final period. Concordia scored one.
Emily Daniels and Lauren Trecek scored four points each for Concordia.
