 STEVEN MICHAEL MITCHELL

 Steven Michael Mitchell, age 35, of rural Concordia, went to be with his Lord and Savior in heaven on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013. His death was the result of an accident at his home. He was born on Sept. 6, 1978, in Belleville, Kan., to Jack and Kathy (Trost) Mitchell.
 He graduated from Concordia High School and Cloud County Community College. He was a member of the Huscher United Methodist Church. Steven was the organic gardener for the Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, a substitute teacher, the Concordia High School tennis coach and a farmer.
 He is survived by his mother, Kathy; sister, Wendy Moulton and husband Cody, Abilene; brother, Andrew Mitchell and wife Melissa, Powhattan; and many close family members.
 He was preceded in death by his father, Jack; grandparents, Carl and Verna Trost and Myron and Sarah Mitchell; aunt, Marymar Stolzenburg and uncle, Charles Mitchell.
 The family selected cremation and memorial services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at First United Methodist Church with Pastor Joe Koechner officiating. Friends may sign the register book from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. with the family greeting friends from 7-8 p.m., Thursday, at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home.
