Three Panther wrestlers finish tournament 6-0

Posting a 1-5 record, the Concordia High School wrestling team placed sixth in the dual tournament it hosted on Friday and Saturday.
Valley Center went 6-0 to win the tournament.
El Dorado, 5-1, finished second. Smoky Valley, 4-2, was third. Minneapolis, 3-3, was fourth. Chapman, 2-4, placed fifth. Beloit, 0-6, was seventh.
Concordia was beaten by Chapman 42-34 in the opening round of the tournament.
The Panthers fell 46-30 to Minneapolis.
Valley Center defeated Concordia, 63-11.
El Dorado dealt the Panthers a 45-18 setback.
Concordia beat Beloit 46-36 in round five, and then lost 44-24 to Smoky Valley.
Three Panthers went unbeaten in the tournament.
Cameron Miller, 113 pounds, was 6-0 with three pins.
Drake Hake won two matches by fall in finishing 6-0 in the 138-pound class.
Skyler Hittle, 195 pounds, went 6-0 and recorded four pins.
Isaac Sprague, 126 pounds, and Kyle Marks, 220 pounds, finished 3-3 for Concordia.
Matthew Whitley, 120 pounds, and Jared Knapp, 145 pounds, were each 2-4.
Brenton Edwards, 106; Keenan Edwards, 153; and Shea Crum, were 1-5.
Zak Romo, 285, was 0-3 and Lane Collins, 132, was 0-4.
Concordia will wrestle a North Central Kansas League dual at Chapman on Thursday.
