Three Panthers named to All-NCKL team

Three members of the Concordia High School basketball team have been named to the All-North Central Kansas League team.
Junior Grant Holmes was selected to the all-League team for the third consecutive year.
Gabe Bergmann, a senior, was tabbed all-League for the second straight year.
Freshman Cooper Holmes also received all-League recognition.
Concordia senior Alan Garcia received All-NCKL honorable mention.
Grant Holmes, 6-3, averaged 15.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game for a Concordia team that finished 15-7 overall and 7-3 in the League. He ranks third in school history in scoring with 1,000 points.
Bergmann, a 6-4 post player, averaged 7.5 points and 6.3 rebounds for the Panthers. He ranks sixth in school history in career rebounding with 534.
Cooper Holmes, a 6-3 guard, averaged 19 points and 6.3 points per contest, and is the first freshman to lead the League in scoring.
Connecting on 97 of 118 free throw attempts for 82 percent, Cooper Holmes wins the Ed Walters Free Throw Award. He also shot 57 percent from the field.
Garcia, a 5-9 guard, averaged 5.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game for the Panthers.
Joining the three Panthers on the all-League team include:
Andy Wilson, senior, Abilene; Isaac Poe, senior, Wamego; Zach Heiman, senior, Chapman; Jacob Harms, senior, Abilene; Marshall Wethington, senior, Wamego; Garrison Wright, senior Marysville; and Dalton Haist, senior, Clay Center.
Receiving all-League honorable mention include:
Keil Kelly, junior, Abilene; Matthew Barlow, senior, Abilene; Logan Lehmkuhl, senior, Chapman; Caleb Carson, senior, Clay Center; Brandon Griffee, senior, Marysville; Matt Webb, senior, Wamego; and Dakota Turner, senior, Wamego.
Concordia senior Joshua Pounds was named the recipient of the Garrett Farha Assist Award.
Pounds, a 5-9 guard, averaged 3.9 assists per game. He ranks third in school history with 260 assists.
