Timme seventh in eighth grade race

CLAY CENTER — Concordia’s Nicole Timme recorded a seventh-place finish in the eighth grade girls’ division of the Clay Center Middle School Invitational cross country meet on Tuesday.
Timme ran 6:38.17.
Britney Gilkeson was 17th for Concordia in 6:56.27.
Brittney Kennedy finished 33rd in 7:30.45, and Briana Kennedy was 37th in 7:42.07.
Tabetha Deines, Salina South, won the race in 6:18.00.
Concordia’s Kyler Caspers finished 38th in the eighth grade boys’ race with a time of 6:36.77.
Calvin Shannon, Smoky Valley, took first in 5:34.38.
The Concordia seventh grade boys had Andrew Mason place 87th in 8:32.29.
Jaydn Hickel, Washburn Rural, ran 5:46.87 to take first.
Concordia’s Callahan Figgs placed 11th in the seventh grade girls’ race with a time of 6:46.78.
Cierra Kennedy ran 6:49.91 to finish 13th.
Preston Reid, Anthony Middle School, finished first in 6:01.51.
