Two escape injury in plane crash

Two men escaped injury when a single-engine plane crashed shortly after taking off from Blosser Municipal Airport Saturday morning.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that a 1964 Piper single-engine aircraft, piloted by Terry Lambert, Concordia, took off from the airport at 10:40 a.m. Saturday and was making a left turn into the wind when the engine stalled. The plane crashed while trying to make an emergency landing .3 miles from the south edge of the runway.
Lambert, 49, was not injured in the crash, nor was his passenger, Francis Williams, 45, also of Concordia.
