Wamego sweeps Panthers

Playing at home for the first time this season, the Concordia Panthers suffered a pair of league losses to seventh-ranked Wamego Thursday night in the Concordia Junior-Senior High School gymnasium.
Wamego won the first match in straight sets, 25-13, 25-17.
Jordan Eshbaugh had five kills and three digs for the Panthers.
Jera Metro had four kills and two digs.
Shania Anguish finished with eight digs, and Chandler Lamm had four.
Faith Balthazor had 36 good sets in 39 attempts with 15 assists.
Wamego completed the sweep with a 25-11, 25-10 victory in the second match.
Metro had four kills and two blocks.
Anguish had six digs. Lamm had five digs and Eshbaugh had three.
Balthazor had 38 good sets in 39 attempts with 12 assists.
